Assistant Commandant {Commercial Pilot License) for Short Service Appointment} as Helicopter and Fixed wing pilots for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable upto 14 years.	12th class passed or equivalent with 60% marks and should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) approved by (DGCA) on the date of registration.	Men & Women (Unmarried)	01 Jul 85 to 30 Jun 93 (both dates inclusive).
Assistant Commandant Technical branch (Electrical)	(i) Degree with 65% marks in aggregate in Electrical/ Tele Communication & Electronic or equivalent qualification, in any of the above discipline, reconised by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). or (ii) Have passed Section ‘A’ & ‘B’ of Institute of Engineers (India) Examination in any of discipline listed at sl no. (i). or (iii) Candidates with minimum 60% marks in M Tech and BE/B Tech.	Men	01 Jul 82 to 30 Jun 91 (both dates inclusive).

 

Medical Standards: (a) Height in Cms : (i) Asst Commandant (GD) and Technical: 157 cms minimum may be reduced by 5 cms in the case of Assamese (including those from Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura) Garhwal, Sikkim, Local tribes of A & N islands and 2 cms in case of candidates from Lakshadweep, mainland settlers in Andaman and Nicobar. (iii) Asst Commandant (Pilot) and Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders for Short Service Appointment (M/F): Min 162.5 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length 99 cms.  (b) Weight Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.  (c) Chest Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms  (d) Eye Sight : (i) Asst Commandant (GD) – 6/6(Good Eye) 6/9 (Bad Eye) without glasses  (ii) Asst Commandant GD(P/N) 6/6 (Both Eyes) /CPL Holders SSA without glasses (iii) Asst Commandant (Tech) 6/12 (Good Eye) and 6/36 (Bad Eye). Note: Candidates with above medical standards only to appear for the selection. No waiver will be given for the above standards.

How to apply

Candidate may apply Online on or before 30th January, 2012.  After submitting online application, candidates are required to print two copies of the application with number generated by the system. Both copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph to be carried by the applicant to the testing centre. Out of the two copies one copy shall be enclosed with class 10th certificate/mark sheet showing date of birth, 12th class certificate along with mark sheet showing subjects, Degree certificate and mark sheets duly attested by the Gazzetted Officer shall also be carried by the candidate for submission at the time of PSB. Any candidate who does not carry all these documents at the time of PSB shall not be permitted to appear in the exam.
